Sussex parent Greg Manning, who is a New York Firefighter and Rescue Specialist for the New York City Urban Search and Rescue Team, recently spent a week in Haiti aiding in the rescue efforts following the 7.0 magnitude earthquake January 12th.  We were grateful to have him come and share his experience and photographs with us.  He and his team, along with the many others that have helped, are true heroes!

Mrs. Gutierrez's Classroom Highlights
   
   

Students in Mrs. Gutierrez’s fourth grade math class showed off their creativity and vast knowledge of mathematical concepts with their 100th Day Projects.  They were only given three guidelines to follow: must be fourth grade level work, math related, and be creative!  Needless to say… they excelled!
